Before the incident

While operating as a BM head sill sawyer the EE went to the back of the saw to begin pulling material out to load onto his trays. As the EE was pulling material there was a lineal that was dislodged from the stack which made it more difficult to pull out. The EE utilized extra force to free the lineal and while doing so felt a pop behind their right shoulder blade described as a plucked guitar string. Initially the EE refused medical treatment but after a while requested to initiate a triage call.
