Entered PT room in ER and began to set up equipment for Xray

What happened

Shoulder injury occurred while using portable X-ray machine in the ER to X-ray PT. When elevating and angling the X-ray tube as required to image the PT the EE experienced a sudden sharp burning pain in left shoulder after which EE was unable to elevate arm more than a few inches in any direction.
