29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s)  a- 13 Mary Lane, Block 26.06, Lot 7, Robbinsville NJ: On or about 08/13/15 worksite company employees were exposed to hazards including, but not limited to fall hazards as a result of frequent and regular inspections not being performed by a competent person.     Simple Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1046032, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/27/15, with respect to a workplace located at 483 Stanford Hill Road, Block 1159, Lot 19.25, Lakewood NJ.  IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided:  a- 13 Mary Lane, Block 26.06, Lot 7, Robbinsville NJ: An employee, not provided with any fall protection, was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 21 feet to the ground surface below when performing roof truss installation and other related activities while working/walking from the top plates of the structure's outer walls.  Condition observed on or about 08/13/15.   Simple Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1046032, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/27/15, with respect to a workplace located at 483 Stamford Hill Road, Block 1159, Lot 19.25, Lakewood NJ.  IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  a- 13 Mary Lane, Block 26.06, Lot 7, Robbinsville NJ: An employee, not provided with any fall protection, was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 15 feet to the ground surface below when performing framing and other related activities while working/walking between the vertical 2x4s of the upper floor's exterior frames.  The worksite company employees had not received fall protection training from the company.  Condition observed on or about 02/24/15.   Simple Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a Serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1046032, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/27/15, with respect to a workplace located at 483 Stamford Hill Road, Block 1159, Lot 19.25, Lakewood NJ.  IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
