Newark, NJ.    Employees working in the shop area were exposed to hazards from an impeded evacuation as there was only one exit discharge causing employees on the far South end of the shop having to travel 205 feet to the exit discharge.                                                       Violation observed on or about 02/09/2016.

Employees were exposed to falls and hazards relating to an evacuation being impeded as doors leading to the exit and the exit door itself had 8 inch high "blocks" on the floor across the entire door to prevent flood waters from coming into the business from the street.
