29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use.  The employees were not provided immediate access to eye wash station in maintenance area.  This was most recently documented in the maintenance area at 6600 Fletcher Avenue, Lincoln, NE 68507.  Employees were exposed to corrosive chemicals exampled by Xylene, Methyl Isobutyl Ketone, Ethylbenzene (Reducer 54), and Ammonium Hydroxide, Ethanolamine (Blue Ed X).  The eyewash station had obstructions preventing immediate access in the event of contact with the chemicals present.

29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch.   Work rest(s) on the bench mounted grinder machine was not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch.  This was most recently documented at 6600 Fletcher Avenue, Lincoln, NE 68507 in maintenance area.  In the maintenance area the employer is failing to ensure that the work rest is adjusted to within one eighth inch of the periphery of the abrasive wheel.

29 CFR 1910.243(a)(3): Portable belt sanding machine(s) were not guarded at each nip point where the sanding belt runs onto the pulley(s).   The employees are exposed to unguarded equipment in the maintenance area.  This was most recently observed at 6600 Fletcher Avenue, Lincoln, NE 68507  The vertical bench mounted belt sanding machine was not guarded at the nip points and presented hazards that the employees had exposure to.
