29 CFR  1926.451(b)(5)(ii):The end of a platform greater than 10 feet in length extended over its support more than 18 inches and the platform was not designed and installed so that the cantilevered portion of the platform is able to support employees without tipping, or has guardrails which block employee access to the cantilevered end.  a) Worksite: 8 Nyack Drive, East Northport, NY 11731 - The employees were installing Siding/Polar Wrap while working from a pump jack scaffold.  The scaffold platform extended approximately 4 feet past the support exposing employees to fall hazards while working approximately 13.5 feet above the ground; on or about 5/30/2023.   Note:  The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

The scaffold was not erected by a competent person; on or about 5/30/2023.    Note:  The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
