A Production employee was exposed to noise at an 8-hr TWA of 89.3 decibels on the A-scale or equivalently a dose of 90.8% during a 389-minute sampling period on March 13, 2025, while trimming aluminum castings with a band saw.

Molders wear open back jackets which do not cover the head, neck, back of the body and bottom and back of the legs. Molders are exposed to molten aluminum and sparks while charging the electric furnaces with aluminum ingots by hand, ladling molten aluminum out of the electric furnaces by hand, walking the ladle of molten aluminum from the electric furnaces to the permanent mold machines, pouring the molten aluminum from the ladle into the permanent mold machines and removing the aluminum casting from the permanent mold machines.
