OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to potential crushing and struck-by hazards from falling vehicles and/or automotive lift parts:  Site- On or about February 19, 2025, and at times prior; employees operating 1 Rotary SPO12N7T5 two post lift, 3 Rotary SPOA10N1500 two post lifts,  1 Challenger CL10V3 two post lift, 1 Challenger AC2123S two post lift, 1 Challenger  AC21NS two post lift, and 1 Hunter RX14KTK four post lift were not protected from crushing and struck-by hazards where the automotive lifts had not received an annual inspection from a qualified inspector, as required by ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2020.  Mavis Southeast, LLC dba Mavis Discount Tires was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1758188, citation number 1, item number 1 as affirmed as a final order on November 27, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 7049 Ruffie Wy, Midland, GA 31820.
