On 4/02/2018, employees were replacing a pin in the chain for a slat conveyor. The sledge hammer used to pound the pin into the chain missed the pin and struck the left pinky finger of the employee who was holding the pin. The employee's fingertip had to be later amputated.

An employee was standing on the second step of a step-ladder unhooking a 4-inch hose. After unhooking the hose, the end of the hose caught his glove pulling the employee off the ladder to the deck two feet below the ladder. The hose continued to pull the employee to the ground approximately 2.5 feet below the stepladder. The employee suffered neck trauma and spinal cord swelling.
