Final narrative
An employee was moving a scrap bin with an overhead crane. As he was lowering the bin, a 20-inch diameter and 80-foot long pipe automatically kicked off of a conveyor into the area where he was standing. The pipe hit the bin and caused the bin to catch his right leg between the bin and a stationary table, fracturing it. He was hospitalized and had surgery.

The injured employee stepped up on the trailer to cut the last band holding the pipe in the coil on the reel.
