Final narrative
An employee was banding a bundle of cut flat steel bars with an overhead crane when the bundle slipped out of the hoist chains and fell onto the employee's right middle finger, crushing and breaking it.
An employee loaded 18x42 and 24x42 steel pipe that was banded together onto the back of a flatbed trailer. The employee was securing the pipes with a strap over the top of them. When the strap tightened, the band broke and the pipe rolled off onto the employee. The employee sustained fractures to the left arm, hand and leg.
An employee was pulling stainless expanded metal from a rack. The metal lacerated the employee's right hand, cutting through an artery and a tendon. The employee was hospitalized and underwent surgery.
