Final narrative
On August 21, 2019, a temporary employee was applying grated cheese to a pizza crust moving on a conveyor line to a plastic wrapping system. He was attempting to grab grated cheese that drops into a catch bin under the conveyor when his finger was caught in the chain and sprocket system, resulting in a finger amputation on his right hand.
On October 27, 2019, a temporary employee was taking apart a cheese shredder and contacted the rotating shredder head, suffering amputation of multiple fingers.
