On May 13, 2020, an employee's left little finger was caught between a metal bale (a device used for lifting, carrying, and rolling boxes) and a pattern box with a sand core inside it. The fingertip was crushed, resulting in its amputation.
Employee backed up against a Salamander (heating unit) to get warm and caught the back of his right pant leg on fire. Employee suffered burns to the back of his upper right leg.
