An employee was taking inventory of lighting fixtures in the hallway and then proceeded to come down the stairs. The employee slipped and fell down the stairs, which were wet because wax was being stripped. The employee's head struck the stairs and he sustained three broken bones in his left arm. He was hospitalized and required surgery on his arm.
An employee was unloading a delivery from an elevated portable ramp when it collapsed, causing him to fall two stories to the pavement below. The employee was hospitalized with four fractured ribs.
