An employee had just finished changing and adjusting the belt on a foundry standing grinder when the employee's left index finger made contact with the rotating wheel, resulting in a partial amputation.
An employee was cutting a casting with a band saw. After the cut, he was trying to move the cut piece of casting away when the sawblade caught his glove. Two of his fingers were amputated.
