A construction worker was descending the fire escape from the floor above. There were vibrations, and the employee's right foot gave out, causing them to fall approximately 10 feet to the ground. The employee sustained fractures to their nose and right cheekbone, and three fractures to the pelvis. The employee was hospitalized and required surgery.
