An employee was riding in a telehandler's basket, preparing to clean a duct. The forks of the telehandler caught on a beam. The telehandler then backed up. This caused the force on the forks to be released, which jostled the employee. The side of his body bumped into the basket railing and he suffered three broken ribs and a punctured lung. He was hospitalized.
