An employee opened an overhead garage door on a dock. As the employee was looking for IT cables on the outside of the building, he fell off the dock and hit his head on the concrete about 4 feet below. He suffered a skull fracture and brain bleeding.

An employee stabbed the injured employee with a knife in the breakroom during an altercation. The injured employee sustained stab wounds to their chest and abdomen.

An employee was walking from the receiving area to the grocery section. A customer was waiting for the employee around a corner and stabbed the employee multiple times with a sharp object. The employee was stabbed in the back, abdomen, and left side.

Pivot - EDM, Inc.

On August 26, 2025, an employee was moving a loaded pallet with a pallet jack. She pulled on the pallet jack to get it unstuck from the pallet. When the pallet jack came loose, she lost her balance and fell on the concrete floor by the loading dock door. She landed on her right hip and it was fractured in three places. She was hospitalized and required surgery.

Flextronics America, LLC

An employee was replacing a linear motor shaft (a highly magnetic object) on a machine. The new shaft was placed on a work table next to the old shaft. Magnetism caused the two shafts to come together quickly and crush the employee's right middle fingertip. The employee suffered a degloving/amputation from the top of the fingernail.

On June 19, 2025, an employee was using a bearing press when his left little finger was caught in the press. The employee's finger was crushed and partially amputated at the first knuckle.

Flextronics America, LLC

An employee was working to free a conveyor pallet that was jammed under a conveyor. Their right glove got caught in the conveyor and they sustained partial amputations to the index and little fingertips.

An employee was walking past a crossover conveyor when a ramp came down and hit them in the back. The employee sustained a broken back vertebra, as well as a concussion, and was hospitalized.

An employee was using a hook tool to pull a pallet onto the lift gate of a tractor trailer. The hook detached from the underside of the pallet, causing the employee to fall backward off the lift gate. The employee landed on the concrete parking lot about 5 feet below, suffering fractures to the skull and two thoracic vertebrae.

An employee was walking on a truss table when he lost his balance and fell approximately 3 feet to the floor. The employee sustained a dislocated and fractured left ankle.
