An employee was at a construction jobsite installing an elevator when one of his left hand fingers got caught between the governor rope and the top part of a handrail, resulting in a 1/2-inch fingertip amputation.
An employee and an inspector were performing an annual inspection on a hydraulic elevator. The employee slipped on ice and fell to the ground, fracturing their left hip.
