An employee was sweeping behind a guardrail and stepped on the lower portion of the guardrail when he lost his balance. As he stepped back, his foot became stuck between the guardrail and a transformer, resulting in a compound fracture of left tibia and fibula.
An employee was changing a belt on a tempering furnace when her left glove got caught in the link belt and was pulled into the pulley. Her left thumb tip was amputated and required surgery.
