An employee was securing wood pieces around vehicle wheels inside of a trailer when the pneumatic nail gun shot a nail into their right foot. The employee was hospitalized.
A temporary employee was changing a tire on a forklift. They used a jack to raise the forklift, then lowered the jack for better alignment of the lugs. Their left middle finger was caught in a pinch point between the tire and the fender, resulting in amputation of the left middle fingertip.
An employee was installing wood trim surrounding a skylight inside a home. While holding a piece of trim in it's desired location, his pneumatic nail gun discharged, sending a 3/4-inch pin nail into his left forearm.
