An employee was repairing a conveyor hang-up on a machine and pulled up on the belt between the main conveyor drive pulley and the gearbox pulley. When the conveyor hang-up released, the employee's foot slipped, causing their hand to move forward and get pulled into the machine. The employee suffered an amputation to the right ring finger at the first knuckle. The machine was locked out at the time.
On January 9, 2023, at 9:30 p.m., an employee was repairing a robotic machine that had been dropping parts.
