Final narrative
On May 2, 2022, an employee was aligning a fixture on the rotating work table of a vertical turret lathe when his wrench slipped and his hand contacted a steel cable. The employee sustained a partial amputation to a finger.
An employee was removing a ring that had jammed inside the a bore grinding machine during setup. After the ring was retrieved, the machine loaded the next ring from above, pinching the employee's right index finger between the ring and the cylinder. Part of the inside tip of the finger was pinched off.
Two employees were struck by the rotary table of a drilling rig while installing caisson. Employee 1 suffered multiple fractures, internal injuries, and head trauma. Employee 2 suffered multiple fractures, internal injuries, spinal injury, and head trauma.
