On November 4, 2023, at 6:08 p.m., an employee was attempting to dump out scrap material from a hopper that was lifted off the ground by a forklift. As they went to unlatch the latches on the hopper, their left hand was crushed between the hopper and the forks of the forklift, resulting in an amputation of the middle finger.
