On February 8, 2024, at 6:40 a.m., an employee was operating a hinge boring machine when the back of his left gloved hand was caught by a rotating 35-mm bit, resulting in a circular puncture injury that required surgery.
On June 3, 2024, at approximately 9:29 AM, an employee was using a rotating cutter on a wood shaper machine to cut rabbets in door panels. He was placing tape over some openings between the fence and the top cover to prevent wood dust from blowing out of the machine when his right middle finger contacted the cutter resulting in a fingertip amputation.
An employee was processing a board through the jointer to square off the board. The employee's hand slipped off of the board and went into the blade of the jointer, amputating the fingertip of the right middle finger.
