An employee was going to visually inspect a wastewater lift station when a gust of wind blew the double hatch door (each door is 36" x 30") that they were holding up. The door fell and struck the employee in the back of their head, causing their face to strike the concrete and the steel edge of the lift station. The employee was hospitalized with a non-displaced fracture of the maxillary sinus.
