On July 7, 2025, at approximately 1:29 PM, employees were unloading material and equipment from a trailer in the construction yard. Part of the load included a forklift attachment, located near the edge of the trailer. One employee was using a forklift to unload a crate of material located next to the attachment and struck the front crate with the forks, causing the crate to strike the attachment. The attachment fell over the side of the trailer and struck the injured employee who was walking by at that time. The employee suffered six fractured ribs and four fractured vertebrae.
