29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i):  An employer may provide respirators at the request of employees or permit employees to use their own respirators, if the employer determines that such respirator use will not in itself create a hazard. If the employer determines that any voluntary respirator use is permissible, the employer shall provide the respirator users with the information contained in Appendix D to this section ("Information for Employees Using Respirators When Not Required Under the Standard"):    Filtering Facepiece respirators (dust masks) at Rig #3 located at SEC 30, TWP 27, R 29, 1980 fnl, 1730 fwl near Montezuma, Kansas were provided for voluntary use to employees.  The information contained in Appendix D of this standard has not been given to employees    Fossil Drilling, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 21910.134(c)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311787808, citation number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/02/2008, with respect to a workplace located at SEC 22, TWP 25, R 13, Byers, Kansas.
