29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section:    a. 208 Park Place Irvington, New Jersey    Employees were installing siding from a work platform of an Alum-A-Pole pump jack scaffold without a complete fall protection system in place, thereby were exposed to an approximate 30 ft fall hazard.     Violation occurred on or about 08/21/2017

29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components shall be inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity.    a. 208 Park Place Irvington, New Jersey    Mixed components were used on the pump jack scaffold all of which affected the structural integrity of the scaffold.    Violation occurred on or about 08/21/2017    The Best Option Construction Corp was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(f)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1112065, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/07/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 657 Chamberlain Avenue Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.
