29 CFR 1926.1412(d)(1)(ix): Tires (when in use) for proper inflation and condition.    On or about, October 30, 2018, and at times prior thereto, employees used a Link Belt, HC 258, Serial Number 2868-695-B Lattice Boom Crane, used outriggers in conjunction with tires that were severely dry-rotted and cracked. The employer did not ensure the cranes tires were inspected and or replaced prior to allowing the employees to use the crane to lift precast concrete walls into place, exposing them to crush-by and struck-by hazards.
