29 CFR  1926.251(a)(2)(i):The employer failed to ensure rigging equipment had permanently affixed and legible identification markings as prescribed by the manufacturer that indicate the recommended safe working load.  On or about August 3, 2023, and times prior thereto, rigging equipment being actively used at the jobsite did not have permanently affixed identification markings that would indicate the safe working load and use, therefore exposing employees to potential hazards of overloaded rigging equipment failure.

29 CFR  1926.251(a)(2)(iii): The employer failed to ensure that rigging without affixed, legible identification markings, required by paragraph (a)(2)(i) of this section was not used.   On or about August 3, 2023, and times prior thereto, rigging equipment to be used for work was not removed from service when found to have deficiencies, therefore exposing employees to injuries sustained from lifted loads.
