An employee fell from the end platform of a railcar to the ground, 4.5 feet below. The employee was hospitalized with a broken ankle.
An employee was connecting railcars. The employee's right foot/ankle was caught between the railcar connection devices, causing crushing injuries that required hospitalization and surgical amputation.
