Final narrative
An employee was on top of a tractor trailer to secure dunnage and a spreader bar at the front of the trailer. He stepped backwards and fell off of the trailer, suffering a laceration to his right arm above the elbow that required hospitalization.
A crew was working to untangle a spool of 1/2-inch wire cable. One employee's left thumb became entangled in the cable, causing an amputation/avulsion. The employee was hospitalized.
