Final narrative
An overhead crane was being used to stack 4-by-4-by-20-foot steel beams on an existing pile of beams. An employee was walking through the area when a stack of about 20 beams from the pile collapsed and struck the employee's legs, breaking both of them.
An employee was moving a rectangular stock to create a dunnage platform. While manually sliding the stock, his little finger got caught between two pieces of steel tube, resulting in a partial fingertip amputation.
An employee was standing next to a transfer table which lifts tubing into the area to be processed and cut by the horizontal band saw. A 48-foot-long piece of 6-by-6 tube that was on the transfer table struck his right arm, resulting in an injury.
