Final narrative
On November 8, 2022, at approximately 3:30 PM, an electrician was on a ladder to replace a pendant on a hoist when the employee contacted a powered terminal and was shocked by 460 volts of electricity. The employee then fell off the ladder and was hospitalized for a burn and fracture.
An employee was operating a forklift when it nicked the railroad wheels. The employee's left hand was pinched between the forklift and rail wheel, resulting in a partial left finger amputation.
An employee was cleaning a chute at the hub cutter station and was using a pneumatic chipping gun to remove a piece of steel.
