On May 15, 2025, an employee was assisting with troubleshooting an issue with a die in a die casting machine. While unjamming the machine, the employee's finger was caught between a section of the die and a wooden spacer. The employee's left middle fingertip was amputated.
Employees were clearing die cast lines. The injured employee was reconnecting the hot oil hose to the die frame. The employee pulled on the hose, which came in contact with the hot oil valve and caused hot oil to release. The hot oil struck the employee who suffered third degree burns to the upper right arm, ear, face, and neck. The employee was hospitalized.
An employee was troubleshooting a die cast machine. The top part of the die plunged at high velocity and hot metal was expelled, causing second- and third-degree burns to the employee's right arm, chest, and face.
