An employee was behind a truck, preparing to dump one of two pallets of lumber from the truck's dump body (which had been raised so the lumber could be unloaded). The other pallet slid off the truck and struck the employee's lower leg, breaking it.
An employee was measuring a block on a pedal-operated upcut saw equipped with a 10 or 12 inch circular blade. As he was taking a measurement, the blade contacted his left hand, resulting in amputations of three fingers.
