An employee was driving an easement machine between two houses to reach the back yard. As the machine moved from concrete to grass, it tipped over to the left, catching the employee's left hand against a street light. The employee suffered lacerations to the hand. As well, the employee's face struck the controls, causing a partial loss of front teeth. The employee was hospitalized and underwent mouth surgery.

The employee's right foot was caught under the battery cover of the MHE. The employee sustained a chemical burn from the battery and a fractured right ankle.
