Final narrative
An employee was preparing to cut pipes with a portable band saw. He undid the tie wire and leaned one end of a 20-foot long pipe on a removable rail. As he went to move the pipe, a different rail was knocked over. The rail fell onto the employee and struck his left leg, resulting in a left tibia/fibula fracture.
On September 18, 2023, an employee's foot was struck by approximately 2,000 pounds of steel. The employee's foot and toes were crushed and the employee was hospitalized.
