Final narrative
At about 2:00 p.m. on March 11, 2025, two employees were working on a 33-inch, 400-pound cylinder head. As they were lifting the cylinder head (one operating a hoist and the other using a steel bar), it slipped and crushed the left little finger of one of the employees. The finger was medically amputated.

An employee was walking into the motor control center (MCC) room when his right ring finger was caught in the hinge of a doorway. He sustained an open phalanx fracture, which resulted in a partial amputation above the first knuckle.
